Congratulations to our 2025 Sandcrabs Cup Top 10 winners.
Our 2026 Sandcrabs Cup Competition will start with the first tournament in December 2025 and end with the last tournament in November 2026. Using the PGA FedEx as a model, players will be awarded points at each tournament and at the end of the year the person with the highest point total will be the Sandcrabs Cup winner. We have modified the scoring this year to provide more incentive to play in as many tournaments as possible. Here is how points are earned:
All players who play the tournament will earn 10 points.
Plus Points - All players will be awarded their plus points regardless of how they place.
Flight Winners - The top 8 players and ties in each flight will earn bonus points as follows.
(1st - 80 points, 2nd - 70 points, 3rd - 60 points, 4th - 50 points, 5th - 40 points, 6th - 30 points, 7th - 20 points, 8th - 10 points) In the case of ties players will be awarded an equal share of the available bonus points. For example, if there is a two way tie for 1st, then each player would earn 1/2 of bonus points available for 1st and 2nd place (50 pts + 40 pts = 90 divided by 2 = 45 pts each). A 3 way tie would result in each player earning 1/3 of the available points, etc. In the case of ties for 5th place each player will earn the minimum of 10 bonus points.
Players in the top 8 could have minus points for the tournament and in that case the minus points will be included in the points total. For example if you qualify for 6th place with a minus 2 score then your bonus points would be adjusted for that (30 pts -2 for a bonus of 28)
CTP Winners - All CTP winners will earn a bonus of 10 points.
Points totals will be updated and posted regularly on the website.
